The Altinn VAT report under Accounting | Backoffice| VAT is used for reporting to the tax authorities and can be submitted directly as an XML file from Marathon
Settings
Some settings must be configured in order to use the VAT declaration.
Parameter settings
- Open the accounting year in Accounting | Backoffice | Base registers | Parameters
- Tick the box for Automatic posting of VAT under the Var tab. This setting enables the VAT processing tailored to Norway.
- Fill in Reporting code for authorities according to the picture
