Special hourly rates
General
There are four different ways to control special hourly rates. For this to work, debit type Employee must be set for the project. The price factor works for both the Employee and Job code debit types.

- Special hourly rate for the employee
- Special hourly rate per client / project
- Price list
When an employee registers time on a project, the system first checks whether there is a special hourly rate registered on the project. Secondly, it takes into account any special hourly rate for the employee (in the employee setup) and, finally, it selects the employee's regular hourly rate. However, the price factor applies in all cases.
Price factor
The price factor controls the hourly rate using a percentage. In Project | Backoffice | Base registers| Clients and Projects under the tab Price Fee, you can specify what percentage of the hourly rate should apply to the client. If the Fee is set to 100, this means that 100% of the hourly rate for the respective person should apply. This also applies to projects that do not have a check mark in the Special hourly rates box.
