What is Marathon?

Marathon is a comprehensive ERP system with powerful functions for handling most matters within accounting, projects and media.

Marathon Accounting includes besides bookkeeping also all handling of in- and outgoing invoices, including electronic invoices, OCR scanning and invoice approvals. We have also functions for inventories and expense bill handling with possibility to photograph the receipts.

Marathon Media includes functions for media plans, orders, advertise checks, invoicing, media invoicing, reconciliations, reclamations and reports. The system includes a comprehensive media database with contact information, placements, issuing dates, formats, etc for all Nordic media.

Marathon BI is our tool for business intelligence. Here you can analyse your business both on a summary level and deeply. The results from your analysis can be used in managing your business. Additionally, Marathon BI includes advanced functions for estimates, prognoses and cash flow reports.

The technology

Marathon is a cloud based ERP system (SaaS). That means we take care of all technical matters behind the scenes. We ensure that the system always is run on modern, fast and safe hardware. We also make backups on your data each night and save 30 generations of it.

The only device you need to use Marathon is a computer or a mobile phone. The system is accessible from your office, home or wherever you have Internet access. The system works on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android.

The system is available in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and English.

Our responsibility

Each new client is equally important. The installation department takes a big responsibility during the start-up period, ensuring that you have got all necessary help and education for using Marathon.

When you are up and running and all the routines are set, the responsibility for you is transferred to the support department. They will help you if you get stuck in some function or if something just doesn’t work. The easiest way to contact the team is to make a support case directly from the system, but you can also call then or email them. Our objective is to always return to you within 30 minutes; we have only occasionally been failing in that. If you have problems outside office hours, we have an emergency phone where you will get help. Emergency calls will be charged for.

Our development department is responsible for developing the system in pace with time. When new technology is available, we are quick in using it. We have clients from the eighties that continuously have been upgraded with the latest technology without having to change system or going through difficult rearrangements.

What does it cost?

The cost consists of a monthly rent; no other non-recurring cost exists. The size of the rent depends on the size of your company and what parts of the system you wish to use.

Included in the monthly rent is: Marathon, its installation, support and upgrades to new technology and new versions.
