Right mouse bottom (Ctrl + click on Mac)

Used in tables for different measurements:

  • Update - updates list.
  • Copy list - copies visible list.
  • Copy row - copies selected row.
  • Copy field - copies selected field.
  • Spreadsheet - exports the table to Excel/Spreadsheet.
  • Print out - prints the table to selected printer.
  • PDF – exports the table to PDF.
  • Columns - select visible columns in this specific table.

Also used in fields with three dots [···]:

  • Copy - copies the text in current field.
  • Paste - pastes from clipboard in current field.
  • Open - shortcut for opening something fetched from a register, e.g. an agreement.
  • Activate quick search - further descriptions below.
  • Deactivate quick search - further descriptions below.

Right click is also used when setting letters for hot keys,  see further description under Alt + underlined letter.

Tab 'Go to next object/field.  In most cases, the Enter-button works as well.
Shift + Tab Go to previous object/field.  In most cases, the Enter-button works as well.
Alt + underlined letter Press e.g.  Alt+ O for Open, if you have decided that the letter O shall be the hot key. Right click on a button and select hot key letter.
Ctrl + Page Down Go to next tab.
Ctrl + Page Up Go to previous tab.
Button with three dots [ '···'] Shows that there are registers where information can be fetched.
F1 Opens register in fields with three dots [···].  Does not function when Quick search is activated, see below.
F3 Imports and pastes latest value in the current field. If you , for example, have written  ”See agreement no. 29348″ in a client’s field, you can in the same field but for another client, press F3 and let Marathon write  ”See agreement no. 29348″ also in this field. Works in unlimited amount of fields and can be useful when some information shall be identical.

(Marathon runner) The runner in the upper left corner of the screen is a quick function for changes between active modules. You can easily alternate between open programs with  Alt + arrow (up or down), or by clicking on the runner. When the runner is red, it indicates that there are one or several programs open that are in such a sensitive face, that you cannot log out before you have closed those programs separately.

Quick search (field) Write the first letters of a letter combination in the Quick search field, to limit the hit list.
Quick search (drop-down list) Quick search works in all fields with [···]. If  Quick search is activated, you can write complete words or parts  of words  and see a list of suggestions from existing registers.  The function can be set generally in Functions/Settings/General or individually by right clicking in a field and select Activate Quick search /Deactivate  Quick search.
